Next up!

Deliaha wakes up with Vincents arm slung around her body and his other arm under her, wrapped in his warm loving embrace. She gently and slowly gets out of bed and heads towards the shower, right as the hot water touches her face, all her worries, fears and torments melt away. When she walks out and looks into the steamed mirror she sees her scar is gone and she is holding her head with a new type of strength and beauty. She looks over every inch of her face and settles on her eyes, the blue speckles seem to sparkle with desire and light and the violet is devestatingly breathtaking, the last time she was so amazed with those strange and glorious eyes was about 117 years ago. 117 years ago when she became a strong, powerful vampire, The night Vincent changed her. She laid on the moist grass outside the mansion where she was attending a grand ball. She had been so excited, this was her big night, the night she would be introduced into the social scene of balls, gowns, and wealth. She wore a deep red gown the covered all of her arms only revealing her delicate, small hands, with her neck completely exposed from the square low cut neckline of the dress. She wore modest face makeup and had her dark curls up in clips. She had been dancing and swaying all night, when a man in all black caught her eye, He had dark eyes but pale white skin and a defined strong body. She knew as a woman in society she would not approach this elegant man, but soon enough he was asking her for her hand to dance after dance. He whispered in her ear to follow him, she knew she should not have but he was so beautiful and charming, she was under his spell. He lead her to the yard where he slowly made his way to her heart with his flatterly and soulful deep eyes. He leaned in to kiss her, she closed her eyes waiting what felt like ages, finally his lips met her, they were cold as ice but soft as pillows and inviting. He slowly pulled away, and looked into her eyes, his expression softened and she saw his mood lighten, when she looked into his eyes and saw desire and lust, but also passion and need. He leaned in once again for a kiss and this time when their lips met his were more desperate as if he needed hers, he trailed down her cheek to her neck slowly kissing up and down her veins, her heart was racing, she could hear it in her ears, then she felt a sharp pinch and all of a sudden she became weak and lost her footing. He quickly, without looking up, scooped her up held her, she was terrified, but in her mind she could hear a voice telling her she was safe, his voice, telling her he would not hurt her, She tried to fight, she shrieked and sqriumed, but after a couple minutes she had no power to move. Then he stopped and laid her on the moist grass, he looked into her eyes, he had slattering of red in his dark eyes around his pupil, his eyes were so alluring she could not look away, this was all she saw. Then she felt dizzy and light-headed, she tried to sit up but it was as if her muscles would not listen, colder with every minute, she started shivering and shaking. What was happening to her? What had he done to her? The next moment She was against him he was looking down at her in concern, he was whispering something she could not hear, but she thought she saw his lip mouth im sorry and please forgive me, it will be over soon. Colder and colder into a freezing abyss, her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she shook violently, then it stopped the pain-staking cold was replaced with a new pain, a burning pain but not in her body in her throat. She couldn't breathe, she couldn't think, hear, or talk, she was so thristy she knew excatly what she needed but would not let herself say it. How could a beautiful young woman want a cruel disgusting substance, no matter how she felt about it she needed it and was lusting over it, it felt as if her life dependent on it. With every minute it got worse and worse the pain was horrible, then two sharp pricks slide from her gums, Canines, she had fangs like an animal, thats when she knew she was no longer human, she was something of a whole different kind. Vincent took his sharp tooth and ran it across his wrist drawing a sweet smelling liquid that dripped from his light skin,he lifted her head to his wrist and she drank and drank, it felt amazing, she drank until she felt she was stuffed beyond belief. When she finally could move her body she sat up and saw a world she never saw before, colors were more vivid, smells more distintive, and she could hear almost everything moving around her. She caught a glimpse in a nearby window and thats when she saw her eyes, the eyes that could stop anyone in their tracks, and that were so strange even she could not believe what she could control with a glance, she always had dangerously beautiful eyes but now they shone like moonlight. She saw a girl that was ravenousing she did not even recongize herself, Vincent looked at her with worry and compassion, she gave him a smile to tell him she was ok, and she was enjoying this change of life so far, his eyes grew happier and he spoke only two words, He said You're Beautiful.

Torment Review

Amazingg! I loved this book, it answered alot of questions about angels and angelic ways. Most of the old characters make an appearance and new characters too! Luce is more rebelous and on her own, sturring much trouble for Daniel while he is trying to protect her. Daniel was skecthy and would not answer centain questions for Luce and you thought he had left her, while the whole time he was always looking over her. I felt for Luce and knew why she was being so stubborn, Of course True love never diess...
I give a 4.5 out of 5 for Torment, i loved it! If you havent bought it yet, go get it!

5 Stars- I Highly Recommend This Book!

Ethan Wate used to think of Gatlin, the small Southern town he had always called home, as a place where nothing ever changed. Then he met mysterious newcomer Lena Duchannes, who revealed a secret world that had been hidden in plain sight all along. A Gatlin that harbored ancient secrets beneath its moss-covered oaks and cracked sidewalks. A Gatlin where a curse has marked Lena's family of powerful supernaturals for generations. A Gatlin where impossible, magical, life-altering events happen.

Sometimes life-ending.

Together they can face anything Gatlin throws at them, but after suffering a tragic loss, Lena starts to pull away, keeping secrets that test their relationship. And now that Ethan's eyes have been opened to the darker side of Gatlin, there's no going back. Haunted by strange visions only he can see, Ethan is pulled deeper into his town's tangled history and finds himself caught up in the dangerous network of underground passageways endlessly crisscrossing the South, where nothing is as it seems.

Crescendo

Nora should have known her life was far from perfect. Despite starting a relationship with her guardian angel, Patch (who, title aside, can be described as anything but angelic), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking up. Patch is starting to pull away and Nora can't figure out if it's for her best interest or if his interest has shifted to her arch-enemy, Marcie Millar. Not to mention that Nora is haunted by images of her father and she becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to him that night he left for Portland and never came home.

The further Nora delves into the mystery of her father's death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim bloodline has something to do with it as well as why she seems to be in danger more than the average girl. Since Patch isn't answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying too heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine?

Suddenly....

The ecsatsy of the blood exchange ended very fast, when Vincent pulled away and held her down. His expression changed from loving to hurt and betrayed. His eyes burning with fury, he started talking loud and fast, asking her why she had not told him earlier what had happened to her, he was demanding answers from her, His hold started getting tighter and tighter on her wrist, but he didnt even seem to notice, he was angry. How could he be angry with her? She had been attacked, she started yelling back and was getting hurt by the words and the way he was treating her. He should be more loving and caring and be concerned not angry, His grip getting harder and harder, the corner of her eyes started tearing, this was her attacker all over again. He did not even see her distress or ignored it he was so caught up, she did not know what to do she wanted it to stop, she started to panic, she raised her knee and slammed it as hard as she could into his lower stomach. He lost his grip and flipped onto his back, she ran from the bed, where such short time ago they were sharing intimate thoughts, wants, and desires, where she had felt so safe. She did not run far, she leaped into the bathroom that is attached to the bedroom. She examined her wrists and saw purple marks circling each, but she was more frighten when she looked into the mirror and saw herself, she looked terrified, paler than usual, her eyes looked alarmly large and brighter compared to her white face, she did not look like herself. Slowly the door started to open and Vincent slowly walked in, She involuntarily backed into the sink like a defenseless animal, he must have seen the marks, or her expression because the lines on his hard face ceased and his head drooped. She was so exhausted and defeated she could not look at him, he was her lover and he was her protector, how could he make her feel so terrified after he saw how she was attacked from her own mind? He started to speak, his voice came out cracked, low, and full of shame, but she did not care, she brushed past him almost knocking him off his feet, went start for her bed took his pillows and threw them into the living room, yes this may have been a tad bit dramatic, but she was proud of herself for doing it with a straight face and not letting her emotions get the complete best of her just yet. With that she went to her side of the bed and wrapped the covers around her like a cacoon and starred at the wall, slowly letting tear after tear slide down her face. She woke up the next morning to the sun pouring in her windows in an orangey hue and with the warmth the sun brought, lighten up her face. She got up and walked into the living room to grab her laptop and book, where she found Vincent laying flat on his back on the couch, his hair ruffled as if he was running his fingers through it roughly, his black button down shirt was wrinkly and completely unbottoned showing his white and very nicely toned body, and his eyes looked tired as if he had not slept a wink, which was probably the case. Right as she stepped into the room his face popped up and he was on his feet, she did not move or take her eyes off him as he approached her, she was happy by the way he looked he deserved to be upset and all in a tiffy over the events of last night, but his eyes showed a look of true worry and saddness, She never knew how he felt by just looking at him he could always keep his composure but after 100 years she could tell by the look of his eyes, his eyes never lied. He stopped inches away from her, looking at her face, wrists, and body but not making eye contact. Then he moved his arm towards her and his hand slowly reached towards her face, he was making sure she would know break it first, she still did not move even though this gesture sent heat tingles through her body, he gently stroked her face, she laid her hand on top of his and finally he formed a steady gaze with her eyes, and grabbed the other side of her face, he pulled her face to his and kissed her, it was a deep kiss that left her breathless, she wrapped her arms around his body so her hands laid on the smalls of his back, slowly tracing their way up towards his shoulders. When he finally broke away from her, he still calmly held her face between his strong, soft hands, she took a step back and took his hand and lead him and herself into the bedroom, where she layed on her side and wrapped his arm around her body so their bodies matched like puzzle pieces into eachother, he slid his other arm under her neck and softly kissed the side of her face. Just laying on their bed in slience for what felt like days, for they did not need words, they knew eachother so well, Words were just explainations between them, their mood and action showed how they felt and loved eachother. After some time he moved closer into her body and whispered into her ear, how much he loved her and how sorry he was, he did not mean to hurt her physically or emotionally, he was so scared by what he saw, how close to death she was, and how he could have let this happen. He blamed himself, He told her that they were trying to hurt him, that many people were trying to hurt him and that he was so sorry she had to get in the middle of it, he promised he would not let it ever happen again. She did not know at first how he saw all those images of her attack, because she usually could hide a couple images, thoughts or feelings from him, but this time she had let them slip and hoped he did not see her leopard, but would not ask if he had or had not. She just stayed there in his arms for a while, not wanted this to end, even though they fought like animals and he did hurt her, they truly loved each other, two poweful forces that love eachother will clash but if they abandon eachother everytime they clash then the powerful forced will lose their strength, because the power she has is part of him and his power is part of her, they are part of eachother.

Next Morning for Deliaha

After a long night night of tossing and turning with little sleep to show for it Deliaha decided to give up and get out of bed, Vincent had not returned that night, but that was not that strange, he had high priorities and was probably drinking a week worth of blood in one night. She was sitting on her couch in the living room with her legs crossed in an indian style, with a messy bun in a tight tank top on with baggy blue smooth soft pants on. She was racking her brain with question after question about her encounters the previous night and how dangerous the fight truly was, she still had the mark on her face to show for it, vampires heal at an alarmingly fast rate, but demon posion inside a wound can take twice the amount of time to heal, right now it is only a pink scar that is quickly fading. She must of dozed off, because she was awaken by the door closing and foot steps in the room, she gasped and jumped slighty, still being antsy from her night. She felt a tight embrace of warmth surround her and a set of warm smooth lips kiss the top of her head, She looked up and saw Vincent, smiling at her with pure delight in his eyes. As soon as the pleasure he showed came it was gone in seconds when he saw the mark on her face, Vincent was a man that showed no mercy, was dangerous and has been known to be cruel, but he never showed or acted that way with her, he only showed love and care towards her, except when they fought, they had gotten in some fights that left her sore and brusied and even left wounds on Vincent, but he always showed her gulit for it and either bought her flowers or some other cheesy form of an apology that always made her forget the hositility between them. He gently touched her ugly mark and traced it as if to find a hidden message, his eyes filled with anger and hate, She told him not to worry and to forget it, she didnt tell him how close to death she got, he didnt need to be in that over protective mode. It took some sootheing words and some time but his expression softened and his face lightened, thats when he grabbed her and playfully tackled her and kissed her first on the lips, letting his fangs bite her lip slipping a drop of blood, he quickly licked it off, for vampires the act of sharing blood does nothing for bloodlust, but is everything represented in love, it is the most intimate way to show love for one another, no boundaries were up only two minds merged into one, you feel what they feel, you are what they are, by doing this he was teasing her, giving her chills from pleasure and taking them away making her fidget and squrim with delight, he laughed a deep, seductive laugh and quickly swooped her off her feet, and held her gently against his chest. He laid her on their bed and slowly made his way up to her making her want him more and more, he kissed her mouth with so much passion and stopped and kissed her mark softly almost as if he would hurt her. he trailed to her neck and kissed it lightly waiting for her to say ok or to back off, Vincent knew better than to get inside her head without warning, Deliaha never showed emotion to anyone, and rarely to Vincent, But tonight she needed to feel his presence with her. She felt a sharp pinch and then pure excitment and oozing delight, By now she knew how Vincents mind looked and felt, but she was still always amazed once their minds merged, He had an aura of darkness, many part of his emotions, mind, and thoughts were edged with darkness and dark colors. She saw how he saw her, as a goddess and the rage he felt when he first saw her scar, and even envy when he noticed she was glacing at the man that saved her tonight, the Golden green eyed man. It was amazing sometimes how closely he watched her, she never really knew how close and how dear to him she was until she felt his mind, He was much like her in that way, he kept how he felt to himself, it saved alot of hardships and burdens from others to bear. When she saw how he felt envy towards the man she felt completely guilty and low, How she had looked at that man and how he was still in her brain, but she kept that from Vincent in a secert vault, He didnt need to know this right now. He didnt need to know of the shapeshifter that saved her life, that she was interested in him, amazed, confused, and even maybe attracted too, was anything to her, Vincent was her everything, She knew that from the start, she gave her life to be with him. Her secert was to be kept and forgotten by her and only her, The beautiful Leopard with beautiful, uncommon, strong eyes.

Vampire, new

All her senses are sharp, she feels the gnawing ache in her throat, the pain is almost as if she struggles to breathe, but by now she is used to the pain and it drives her to her prey faster and easier than before when she symapthized with humans, but she now accepts that she is no longer part of that world, the world of the weak and defenseless, she is the hunter and humans are prey. All vampires are beautiful, but Deliaha was also beautiful as a human, she always had striking features and a skinny yet hourglass body, the change only enhanced her features, her round innocent looking eyes that are violet with speckles of light blue around her pupil became brighter, and her plump full pink lips became a shade darker, her skin paled and her dark almost black brown curly hair grew longer and thicker. No one could resist her and she could trap anyone she wanted, but she felt for humans, she still remembers what humanity felt like, what her dreams were and what she wanted to accomplish. She runs her tounge along her sharp pearly white fangs, her mouth moistens at the thought of pirecing the soft delicate skin on a human's neck, hitting the main vein and feeling the thrist weaken with each mouthful. She looked across the room and spotted Vincent, he was talking to a young girl who he was going to prey upon later tonight, she did not know why but this gave her a jealous feeling even though she knew he would never leave her, she hated the thought of him with another woman in his arms, Right at that moment he looks over and flashes her his sexy crooked smile that always made her tingle, and gave the slightest flash of his fangs and winked to her, He was one of the most powerful vampire in the night world, he was feared by many vampires and had a very dark air to him, this always drew Deliaha to him with his seductive and dangerous temperment. She felt tired and unbearably thristy for blood, she started to search the room for her prey, she was feeling very vibrant tonight, her long thick dark curly hair running down her back was buzzing with energy, with her dress hugging her torso and chest like a corset and ending with a flowing skirt that was like a never ending river of darkness, and she had her black heels on that killed her feet but showed off her long legs, if it was up to her she would never take her favorite and always first picked steel toed boots off. As she searched she came across a man with chestnut colored hair and tan skin, he had the body of a worker but the stance of a gentleman, he had an air to him of confidence. She was almost starring daggers at him because all she needed was a glance, for his eyes to meet hers, then she could make her move it was always that simple with humans, so easy to play with, with one look he would be hooked and would be hers to have and do what she wants and needs to, but when he did look at her she was memserized by his golden-green eyes, that did not look human nor vampire, more animal but without a firece harsh look of Vincent but a defensive almost gentle look of a feline. Being caught so off guard and so thristy she turned and left without glancing back even though she felt his eyes following her and engulfing her essence, If he was part of the nightworld the consquence for feeding off him would be great, and do all most nothing for hunger, only give transfer of energy and power, but this is not worth it now, it is war between the creatures of the night using any excuse to attack. Later that night on her way home she picked up the lowest and dirtiest creature off the street, he was covered in layers of dirt and rags and was alone, he would surely not be missed, When she had her head straight again and was not distracted by the pain of bloodlust, her mind started to wonder back to those beautiful, strange golden green eyes of the man, the man without the harsh power of Vincent but a kind and gentle but yet strong look of a condfident elegant animal, he was not vampire, but maybe a shifter, shifters are the lowest form in the night world, always being looked down upon, from being known as hybrids and not true predators, but no matter this man with golden-green eyes was stuck on her mind, she needed to learn who he was, almost as if her sanity dependented on it. She was turning a corner not paying attention when she heard swift light strides behind her, she looked out the corner of her eye and saw in fact movement behind her, she was being tracked, this was not that out of the ordinary, she was a firece fighter and a known powerful vampire in the nightworld many people would want to take her place, and many power hungry enemies would try to get a piece of her. She felt a tightening in her chest, and her muscles started to tenses, her fangs started sliding from her gums each step was poised for attack, She was in her fighting mode, this was the fight or flight, and she never chose flight, running was for the weak and she is not weak, she will never be weak like she once was, she was once a young innocent naive human who was taken aback by a man with brown eyes with red surrounding his pupil and a velvet voice that would melt any girls heart, but she was not human now and she was the predator and they were the prey, that was the relationship, vampire and human, predator and prey the line can not be crossed. Long ago she was the prey, if she wasn't so beautiful and had the courage of lion and the will of a bull she may never have became what she is today, Vincent may have never been so lustful and curious by her, she would be dead in the ground, never knowing power and strength. She listened for the steps getting closer and closer, which were followed by a rotten stench, it had to be a demon of some kind, nothing to hard to kill. She slowed her pace and turned to face her demon and was gone in a flash, in an instant she was in front of the attacker and swung her leg across her body aiming straight for its throat with her sharp heel, when it used lightening reflexes and tossed her aside like a ragdoll, she was weaponless and now it had the advantage, how could this have happened? She was rattled on the inside and was buzzing with frightened energy, but would never show it, even if this is her moment of death, she would die with strength and never end being a coward, he was on top of her, it slapped her face tracing its claws across her face causing shotting pain and his knee was crushing her leg, so escape was not possible. She tried to fight but it was useless, in her last moments she wondered if she would be missed or just seen as another death in the nightworld, would Vincent even care? Then something leaped over her and her Demon, it was a black blur, and the next second it was attacking her attacker, she lay on the pavement stunned and not able to recover from what had just happened, The creature gave a last scream when she heard a wet hard bite that left the demon motionless on the ground, her body shot up to she the scene and then she laid eyes on a beauitful black leopard, with fur the color of midnight and in the moon light shown its dark spots, and the same golden-green eyes, starring at her, the same eyes she had seen not hours before. As she lay on the the pavement the leopard and she just starred at eachother, it had a look of wild, raw, protective, and something that looked like desire in its eyes, without a second glance it leaped up and gracfully sped away, leaving her breathless on the pavement, once again confused and drawn in by those beautiful loving golden-green eyes, the eyes of the man who just fought to protect her, a man who she did not even know his name, only the imprint of the look of safety and comfort he gave her was left on her mind.

Starting

Distracted and uninterested, these are too fond of feeelings for deliha, she walks into the gym with a jersey that has a resemblse to a bumbke bee and that hugs her curves alittle to closer for comfort with black spandex showing off her strong athletic legs. The wind blows past her, making her hair raise and fall against her face gently, with the sun with almost an orange hue shine on her striking features of violet blue eyes, dark curly hair, plump light pink lips and pale skin. She has never fit in and never really intends to. Volleyball keeps her somwhat sane and makes her accomplish something in her free time, but her true love is reading. When she is buried into a book the world is a blur and she is in the story she is experience the terror, thrill, and love the charatcers do, she gets to explore her imaginations that has been denied by the world she lives in now. As she walks she sips slowly a drink, trying to determine what it taste like excatly she comes up with blue, the drink is just plain tasting of blue. The slight frost and tang the drink brings out and that way it cool her throat, can only be descirbed as blue. No one would understand if she were to explain the flavor of this new drink, but in her world blue is a drink and love is within reach, no judgements are made, and she is considered beautiful. She in fact is stunning and ravenousing but she is different no one can and wont see past her difference, she has friends but pays little attention she doesnt need the attention of the popular girls and boys, she has her secert world, the world of dark romance, dark creatures, and acceptance of what she is. When she arrives home she find a mirror and looks and see the girl she truly is.

Catching Fire review

I finished this book with a million questions and a thrist for the answers. Katniss has once again lived through another hunger games, this time with real, experienced and some insane killers. She makes friends and once again sticks it to the capitol. But with all the rebellions rising in the districts,Katniss doesn't know what to do anymore. Her main Purpose....keep Peeta alive. with the twist and turn of this book you are left with so many questions. I give this a 4 out of 5, with great imagery used. I loved this book and i cannot wait to read Mockingjay, it will finally give me answers to everything ive been waiting for.
